SEO Consultant & Organic Growth Systems Architect

I am an SEO consultant in India with nine years of running organic search for sports media, iGaming, publishing and SaaS sites. I work on the technical side, the content side, and the systems that hold both together. Right now I am building AI workflows that handle the parts of SEO that used to eat whole weeks.

Where I have worked

Nine years across sports media, iGaming, publishing and SaaS. Every role below is a site or a group of sites I owned the organic search side of.

  1. SEO Site Manager

    MoveUp Media

    Nov 2025 to now

    60%
    Conversions, month on month
iGaming and sports mediaUK · Ireland · Nigeria · South Africa · Indiatoffeeweb.comfootballfaithful.com
    • Conversions across commercial and editorial pages are up 60% month on month.
    • Page level work on commercial pages pushed CTA clicks up 150%, and the same pattern is now being rolled out to more pages.
    • Rebuilt how analysis reaches the dev queue, which cut the time from spotting a problem to shipping the fix by 70%.
    • Opened up three new markets, including the subdirectory structure and hreflang setup behind them.
  2. Web Project Manager

    Parth Tech

    Nov 2024 to Nov 2025

    200%+
    Organic visibility, year on year
    Cricket platformscrex.comcricket.one
    • Organic visibility grew more than 200% year on year.
    • IPL season traffic went from 5M to 25M.
    • Owned the web architecture for cricket.one and ran delivery across design, engineering, content and social.
    • Both platforms are JavaScript applications behind Akamai. Took them through to server side rendering and worked through the edge bot handling so Googlebot was served the same pages as a browser.
    • Led migrations on both platforms, from URL structure and redirect mapping through to indexation after launch.
  3. Organic Performance Manager

    Better Collective

    Apr 2023 to Oct 2024

    Recovered
    From a Google manual action
    Sports media and betting affiliateinsidesport.in
    • Recovered the site from a Google manual action and brought the organic traffic back.
    • Rebuilt the site architecture so pages were easier to crawl and index.
    • Ran log file analysis to see where Googlebot actually spent its time, then used that to decide what got fixed first.
    • Managed a team of five writers and analysts, and led the SEO planning around big sports events.
  4. Assistant Manager, SEO

    Sportskeeda

    Nov 2020 to Mar 2023

    1M+
    Monthly organic sessions
    Large scale sports publishingsportskeeda.com
    • Worked inside an ecosystem doing more than 100M pageviews a month.
    • Optimised 2,000+ articles that together brought in over 1M organic sessions a month.
    • Grew Google Discover traffic by 30 to 40%.
    • Launched a new content section that went on to rank for 300K+ keywords.
  5. Product Evangelist

What I actually do

Four areas I have spent most of the last nine years in.

Work with me

Technical SEO

The unglamorous work that decides whether anything else you do will land. Migrations, crawl budget, indexation, and the odd Google penalty to dig a site out of. I work as a technical SEO consultant on sites where a bad rollout costs real money.

  • Site migrations and redirect mapping
  • Crawl and index management
  • Log file analysis
  • Manual action recovery

International SEO

I currently run search across five English speaking markets on one domain. That means subdirectory structure, hreflang that actually validates, and knowing when a market needs its own content rather than a copy of the UK page. Pairs with internal linking that keeps each market self contained.

  • hreflang and subdirectory setups
  • Multi market launches
  • Market level keyword research
  • Localised content architecture

AI workflows

I build these for my own teams, not as a demo. A Streamlit app that maps internal links and suggests where the next one should go, and a daily job that reads ranking movement and tells the editors what to write. Built with Claude, ChatGPT and MCP. More on my AI assisted workflows.

  • Internal linking dashboard
  • Daily rank and competitor reports
  • Automated content briefs
  • Helpful content quality checks

Case Studies

Five problems worth writing up, with what I did and what it changed. Open any card for the detail.

Getting a site out of a Google manual action

A penalty had taken the organic traffic out. Here is how the site got it back.

Manual action lifted
Architecture rebuilt
Log file analysis

Scaling a cricket platform through an IPL season

Almost all the upside sits in a few months, so the work has to be done before them.

The internal linking dashboard

Internal linking is high leverage and miserable by hand, so I stopped doing it by hand.

What I have built with AI

Built with Claude, ChatGPT and MCP for teams I was already running, not as demos. The internal linking dashboard is written up in the case studies above.

Daily rank and competitor monitoring

Solves

Ranking changes usually get noticed a week late, and by accident.

Mechanism

An overnight job that reads ranking movement and competitor changes, then writes the desk a short report on what moved and what to do about it. Built for news publishing teams where a day matters.

Impact

The team starts the day knowing what changed instead of finding out on Friday.

Automated content briefs

Solves

Briefs are the bottleneck. Writers wait, then the rushed brief produces a rushed article.

Mechanism

Generates the brief from SERP and query data, then runs the draft through optimisation checks before it reaches review. Sits inside my editorial SEO systems.

Impact

Briefs stop being the thing everyone is waiting on.

Helpful content quality review

Solves

Nobody can tell which pages are at risk until an update has already hit them.

Mechanism

A scoring pass over published content that looks at information gain, structure, and whether the page answers the question it was written for.

Impact

Weak pages get found and fixed before an algorithm update finds them.

Content structured for AI answers

Solves

AI answer surfaces cite pages that are easy to quote. Most pages are not.

Mechanism

Schema markup and direct answer formats built into the page template, with Search Console AI reporting used to track visibility as that data becomes available. Part of my AI assisted workflows.

Impact

Pages built to be quoted rather than hoping to be.

Reporting people actually open

Solves

Dashboards get built, sent once, and then ignored for the rest of the year.

Mechanism

Streamlit and Looker Studio reporting for rankings, indexation and organic performance, built around the questions the team already asks. Same discipline I bring to technical work with engineering.

Impact

Reporting becomes something the team uses, not something they are sent.

How I think about this

1

SEO is a structure and distribution problem before it is a keyword problem.

2

Internal linking is how authority moves. Most sites leave it to chance.

3

If a fix only works when I do it by hand, it is not a fix.

4

Search and product are the same job. Pretending otherwise is why SEO gets ignored.

5

AI should take work off the team, not take the thinking away from it.

The technical work underneath it

Site migrations

The riskiest thing in SEO. Redirect mapping, indexation monitoring, and watching the numbers settle for weeks after launch rather than declaring it done on day one.

JavaScript rendering

Working out what Google can and cannot see on a client rendered site, and fixing it. Part of what I do as a technical SEO consultant.

Crawl and index management

Log file analysis to see where Googlebot actually spends its time, then deciding what deserves it. This is most of what I do as a technical SEO consultant.

CDN and edge behaviour

Getting Googlebot cleanly through an Akamai layer, and the redirect rules and cache settings that quietly change what Google gets served.
